-Tuition is $125 per semester for concert band and beginning band which includes all rehearsals, concerts and sheet music. Attend one or both rehearsals each week.
-Tuition for jazz ensemble is $75 per semester.
-Participants will provide their own instrument, method book(for beginners), and music stand
Fall Semester - Beginners and intermediate players are welcome. We will have an informational meet & greet at the Congregation Ahavas Achim on Tuesday, September 8 at 7pm. Directions here! Come on by and find out how the program works, try some instruments and find out how to participate.
Rehearsals for concert band and jazz ensemble start on Tuesday, September 22 and continue until a final concert in December. On Tuesday evenings, Jazz ensemble will rehearse from 6-7pm, extra help and chamber music will happen for all from 7-7:30, and concert band will rehearse from 7:30-9pm. Our new Beginner Band will meet on Wednesday mornings from 10:30-11:30 starting September 23. All Concert Band and Beginner Band members are welcome to attend either or both rehearsals.
Spring Semester - Beginners and Intermediate players are welcome. We will have an informational meeting on Tuesday, January 5 at 7pm at the Congregational Ahavas Achim. Directions here! Come on by and find out how the program works, try an instrument, rent an instrument, get an instrument repaired.
Rehearsals start on January 19 for Concert Band and Jazz Ensemble and January 20 for Beginner Band. Rehearsals will continue weekly until a final concert in April.
